He conducts both theoretical and experimental research in rotorcraft aeroacoustics. His recent research combines fast aeroacoustic modeling techniques with work in human-machine interfaces and autonomy to imbue crewed, partially-, and fully-autonomous vertical lift aircraft with an “acoustic awareness” to enable intuitive low noise flight operations.
