Louise Ahure, Ph.D. student.

 

Louise A. Ahuré earned First Place in the PhD category at the 2009 Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering Baltimore Conference (SAMPE 2009), for her paper and presentation entitled "Behavior of Magnetorheological Composites Employing Carrier Fluids Licensed for Landing Gear Use." She was awarded a cash prize of $1000, and a trip to the International SAMPE Symposium and Exhibit in Tokyo, Japan (2009) where she will present her work before an international audience.
